Penafiel

is a municipality and former bishopric (now a Latin Catholic titular see) in the northern Portuguese district of Porto. Capital of the Tâmega Subregion, the population was 72,265 in 2011, in an area of 212.24 square kilometres (81.95 sq mi).

The main aim is to represent and defend the interests of the business, taking into account its technical, economic and social progress.
The AEP is an accredited training institution for vocational training since 1998, currently being certified in 22 areas of Education and Training and has taken a very active intervention in development of vocational training.
